History
All NuGet packages mistakenly deleted (in response to Microsoft.Identity.Client phishing URL incident) have been restored, listed and fully available back on NuGet.org. We have individually communicated to the impacted authors.
We have successfully restored 210 unique packages (300 counting all versions) from 111 publishers that were impacted by the recent removal. All these packages are currently available as unlisted due to pending final validation. ETA to having them listed is by the end of July 16th. Impacted owners will also be individually notified.
NuGet.org flagged a phishing URL embedded in a comment within the widely used Microsoft.Identity.Client package. In response, we wrongfully deleted ~80 dependent packages between July 1st and 10th. We have already restored deletions from July 9th & 10th. ETA for remaining restoration is by end of July 15th. We’ll also provide an update here by then.
We understand the importance of package availability and the trust you place in NuGet as a distribution platform. We are committed to transparency and will provide a more detailed update later this week. If you are an affected package author and need immediate assistance, please contact us at support@nuget.org.
Package restore is degraded in Pakistan. This issue should no longer exist. Please email support@nuget.org if you are still having problems connecting to NuGet.org.
Package restore is degraded in Pakistan. We're aware about the service unavailability in Pakistan region. We're working with our CDN provider on putting a workaround in place and looking into a long term solution.
